PYGMALION: Memories in Sepia ...Only a rose I give you. Only a song dying away, Only a smile to keep in memory Until we meet another day.... From :The Vagabound King Please see Sepia Music List at the Bottom of this page Copy and past.
Notes: This page is under construction...as of 24 Nov. 2009. More work and corrections as of 27 Nov. 2009. Added images and made correction 28 Nov. 2009. More work as of 4 Dec. 2009...I hope I've nailed it. 5 Dec. 2009...Well not quite! Many odd things going on. 15 Mar. 2010...Added more images. Feel free to look. Text to come soon. "Mystery Girls" are cases where I can't put a name with face. And my records are of no help. Missing last initials are along the same lines. In some cases I should "know"...but don't. Some of the girls also spelled their names differently over time. Sandy-Sandi, Katy-Kate, Toni-Tony. I had very little occasion to have the girls write their names. Mystery Girl 1: She was a "walk in" as I recall. I tell her story elsewhere. A nice girl. Mystery Girl 2: She was someone that Saulius Pempe connected me with. I think I only shot her once...a long session. I don't think that she was a model as such. I'll have to ask S. Pempe once I make contact with him. It's been 5 years (2009) since I talked to him last. Mystery Girl 3: She was part of a modeling school class. Though she may have come back for an individual session. Mystery Girl 4: She was my "Harlow". It was a "Look" that she cultivated. The photo was taken while I was in San Francisco CA. These Troupe Girls' photos were taken on the same day. Hence the same girls. At other times other girls were on hand...and others "missing". Shelly B. and Katy P. A majority of the images were taken on Kodak 2475 Recording Film. This film was very "fast", hence very grainy. My normal proceedure was to print these images on Agfa Brovira 6 paper. I liked the results very much. I have printed these same images digitaly and I think they capture my original concept just fine...though differently. The sad fact is that images look different on different monitors. I edited them on a CRT monitor and they look lighter on my laptop's LCD. So if you have a choice...turn down your montor brightness. All of these images have within them a true "black". Thanks Steve Tuba
